| The negative environment that the sector suffered in the 2009 financial year presented a very positive advance in the first half of 2010. The Group income reached €646.5M, a rise of 7.2%, and the EBITDA, which shows the operational evolution of NH Hoteles, reflected the significant market recovery and an increase in productivity which is worthy of note. The Company generated an EBITDA of €68M, practically double the same period of 2009, which is fundamentally due to the improvement in hotel activity in all the markets in which NH Hoteles operates. |

One might expect, especially in today's price-conscious environment, that price would be the dominant reason why consumers choose to visit a travel website. However, according to PhoCusWright's European Consumer Travel Report, positive prior experience is the most common reason consumers visit specific websites. Approximately half of U.K. and German travelers, and 38% of French travelers cited positive prior experience as the reason they chose a particular website. |

| Sol Melia Announces 13.5 Million Euro Profit For The First Half Of 2010 And Is Optimistic About The Summer Season |
| Sol Meliá announced results today for the first half of 2010, during which the company made a profit of 13,5 million euros compared to the 1.2 million euros in the same period of 2009, thus meeting market expectations after registering revenues of 581 million euros, compared to 544.9 million euros in the first half of 2009. EBITDA grew by 13% to 97 million euros compared to 85.9 in the same period in 2009. |
