Details: This one-day bar skills course conducted in a real bar during the day, takes you through the essential bartending skills and what it take to be a bar tender. It will give you the skills and confidence required to work in venues such as a pub, bar, restaurant, cafe or at function centres and sporting events.

Not only does this course give you the skills to work in licensed premises, we give you hints on where to look for a job, how to get the interview and how to show off your new skills to potential employers.

Topics Include

How to pull a draught beer from the tap, Simple Mixed Drinks, Point of Sales Systems, Product knowledge, Cash handling and Customer Service.

This bar skills course is nationally accredited as part of the Tourism and Hospitality registered training package.

Important Note: You must be 18+ and possess a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate. As you will be training in a commercial workplace, OHS and hygiene standards apply to dress and grooming.

Please bring, identification, a black pen and note paper with you to class. Pens and notepads are available to purchase for $1.00
